Conservation Committee Meetings
Board members on this committee review potential ACRCD projects and project ‘challenges’ and provide technical and project specific expertise and recommendations regarding whether a proposed project should be approved by the Board of Directors. Major project modifications are also presented by staff to the Conservation Committee. Members of the Conservation Committee may also make recommendations regarding new areas of conservation work for the District.
Alameda County Resource Conservation District Conservation Committee meetings are regularly held the third Tuesday of each month and are open to members of the public. Please check see below for future meeting dates, times and agendas.
The next scheduled Conservation Committee Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at the District Office, 3585 Greenville Rd., Livermore, CA.

Finance Committee Meetings
The Finance Committee responsibilities are:
- To review budgets initially prepared by staff, to help develop appropriate procedures for budget preparations (such as meaningful involvement by program directors), and on a consistency between the budget and the organization’s plans
- To report to the board any financial irregularities, concerns, opportunities
- To recommend financial guidelines to the board (such as to establish a reserve fund or to obtain a line of credit for a specified amount)
- To work with staff to design financial reports and ensure that reports are timely
- To oversee short and long-term investments, unless there is a separate investments committee
