WHAT: Bay Area Womxn Farmer Field Day
WHEN: Thursday, 7/29, 2-5 PM

DESCRIPTION:
As a follow-up to the virtual learning circle on July 6th and 8th, this event will provide womxn farmers and agricultural stewards with a chance to see on-farm water conservation in action, as well as discuss unique dynamics associated with land leases on public and private lands.
At the event, participants will:
- Hear from conservation service providers about grant funding & technical assistance for small and urban farms;
- See conservation in action on small farms, including best-practices for irrigation and soil health;
- Learn about creative land access strategies at a unique publicly-owned agricultural park that hosts working farms;
- Receive resources on conservation technical assistance, as well as template lease agreements, and more.
There is no charge to attend this event and light food, AFT tote bags, and resources from our agencies will be provided.
A $100 gift card to Pollinate Farm & Garden in Oakland will be raffled off at the event!
