SUMMARY:Urban Agriculture Irrigation Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Are your plants wilting due to the lack of rain we’ve had this winter? Would you like to increase your water-use efficiency? Learn about how to address your irrigation needs at our Urban Farming Irrigation Workshop on Saturday March 7 at the Alameda Point Collaborative urban farm. \nThis irrigation workshop teaches is a primer on how to install and manage water effectively on an urban farm. You will learn to determine how much water plants need\, how to match soil type to irrigation type\, as well as tips and recommendations for drip irrigation. \nInstructor Lori Palmquist is an irrigation specialist with a background in irrigation education\, consultation\, and design.
